I am celebrating spring by starting my volunteer work at the SF Botanical Gardens. I just spent an entire morning weeding in the succulents area. It was lovely. Why? Well, I love cacti and I actually enjoy weeding. There's something satisfying about destroying the unsightly.

I love succulents - I have a pitiful aloe plant which has been with me since Omaha - sometimes it like to jump out of it's pot though...
